Workshop on writing scholarly articles

Workshop: Writing scholarly articles

dated: 11 Feb 2015

10th Feb: Travelling from Sintok as early as 7.15 in the morning – heading to Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) — is indeed tiring.

it was almost a 5-hour drive to Tronoh!

it was almost a 5-hour drive to UTP, Tronoh!

But, upon arrival, I enjoyed the hospitality of Associate Professor Dr Wan Fatimah and the gang (Dr Afza, Iman, Dr Sobri, Shima..). We had our FRGS kick-off meeting in the afternoon and our dinner just after Maghrib prayer. Nice to get to know Dr Afza’s daughter, Dr Wan’s daugter, Dr Sobri’s wife, Dr Wan’s Hubby…it was a looooong dinner table that fit everybody^^^

Early morning of 11th Feb – another task is waiting: a workshop on writing scholarly articles. Penat kelmarin belum hilang…sigh! The event was organised by UTP for their postgrads students.

He..heh..as usual, full of passion!

I enjoyed my stay at UTP (Rumah Tamu UTP), and also benefit a lot from the FRGS meeting and the the workshop. I not only handle the workshop, but I have learned a lot form my colleagues and participants.

Here is the material I shared with the audience:
